Since 1993, the Presidents’ Council has provided its members with the time, atmosphere and structure to become more effective leaders.

Through a specific process of sharing with and learning from one another, the Presidents’ Council develops group-synergy, which facilitates self-discovery and professional growth.

Leaders from many of our region's top mid-tier companies populate four highly active and effective Presidents' Councils where leadership growth and life long learning comprise the core of the program. On April 30, 2008, the first AAIM Leadership Council (ALC) was formed. The ALC models the highly successful Presidents' Council process for teaching advanced leadership to function heads within organizations. In 2005, Presidents' Council partnered with VT KnowledgeWorks, the business accelerator and technology business incubation arm of Virginia Tech University. VT KnowledgeWorks operates three Presidents' Council groups, under the skillfull guidance of Jim Flowers, VT KnowledgeWorks' Executive Director.
